Upward Soccer 2023

Upward Soccer, for boys and girls, K4- 6th grade, seeks to develop the self-esteem of each participant while teaching respect for authority, sportsmanship, character, and the fundamental skills of the game. 

Evaluations – Saturday, August 5

• Evaluations are required for each child. Children who miss evaluations will not be granted their “Team Draft Petition,” and they are subject to being placed on a waitlist.
• Children should plan on attending the time frame listed for their evaluation.
• 3rd through 6th grade boys and girls are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls are 1 to 5 p.m.
• Sign-ups for evaluation times will be sent out closer to the evaluation date.
• If you are unable to attend evaluations for any reason, please contact Lydia Booth.
• Children are required to wear shin guards, and cleats are recommended.

Weekly Schedule

• Each player will be drafted onto a team that practices one day a week. Days/times for practices are TBD. Practice day/time will work around the athlete's "Practice Exclusion Night" selected during registration.
• Games will be held primarily on Saturdays with make-ups on Sundays.
• All practices will be 60 minutes.

Cost

• Early bird $115 now through August 6.
• Price increases $15 beginning August 7.
• Cost includes jerseys, shorts, socks, seven regular season games, and end of season celebration.

Age Requirements

• Upward Soccer is for boys and girls, K4- 6th grade.
• The age cut-off is September 1, 2023, and grades follow the Cobb County school system.
• For three-year-old players, please register online for Upward Soccer Modified K3.

Note

• Early bird discount is applied on the payment page.
• All refunds are subject to a $15 admin fee. No refunds will be given after August 5, 2023.
• There ARE games on Saturday, September 23 (first Saturday of Cobb County Fall Break).
• There is no Upward Soccer Monday, September 25 – Saturday, September 30.
