Crossover Flag Football 2023

Crossover Flag Football is a recreational flag football league meant to challenge players both spiritually and physically. This league is recreational in nature, with an emphasis on player development and understanding the game from a tactical standpoint.

We recently rebranded the league to include updated rules, upgraded uniforms, and the addition of a girl’s division. Please look through this registration in its entirety to make sure you are familiar with all of the league’s changes.

Evaluations – Saturday, August 5

  • Evaluations are required for each player. Players who miss evaluations will not be allowed to play.
  •  Players must attend the entire evaluation timeslot. Boys: 9 to 10:30am; Girls: 10:30am to 12pm.
  •  If you are unable to attend evaluations for any reason, please contact a.s.a.p.
  •  Children are required to wear shorts without pockets and a mouthguard; shirts must be long enough to tuck in.
  •  Evaluations will consist of a mixture of drills and scrimmages.


  • Practices will start on Saturday, August 19; games will start on Saturday, September 9.
  • Each player will be drafted onto a team that practices one night a week. Days/times for practices are TBD. Practice day/time will work around the athlete's "Practice Exclusion Night" selected during registration. Practices may start as early as 5:30pm and end as late as 9pm.
  • Teams will have opportunities to practice on Saturdays until games begin.
  • Crossover Flag Football will be drafted via a “coach draft,” and therefore, we will not accept any team draft petitions. We will do our best to give siblings the opportunity to play together, but this is not guaranteed.
  • All practices will be 90 minutes in length.
  • Games will be held primarily on Saturdays with makeups on Sundays or weeknights.
  • The season will conclude with an end-of-season tournament that will include weeknight games.


  • Early bird is $130 now through July 21.
  •  Price increases $15 beginning July 22.
  • Cost includes jerseys, shorts, and a pre-season gift.
  • Withdrawals prior to August 12 may receive a partial refund; there will be no refunds beginning August 12.
  • Sizing will be available at evaluations; if your player requests a new uniform beginning August 12, your family will be responsible for a $50 uniform fee. Uniforms are custom and take 4 weeks to arrive.

Age Requirements

  •  The age cutoff is September 1, 2023, and grades follow the Cobb County school system.


  • Players are required to play in shorts without pockets and wear a mouthguard on the field. 
  • Flags will be provided by the league.
  • Boys and girls divisions will use the TDJ sized ball for play.
