1. Think about a time when you went through pain. While keeping their names anonymous, what did people do/say that was helpful to you? What did they say/do that was hurtful?
2. In your opinion, why do many people struggle to help others when they are grieving?
3. Name someone in your life who is a good listener. What do they do that makes them a good listener?
4. What are specific, helpful ways to show love to someone who is going through a hard time?
5. Take time to pray–as a group–for people you know who are hurting. Then, put a plan of action together to minister to them this week.
